Jenna Wilayto, pilates instructor
Jenna is the Founder of Helios Center for Movement and a leader in presenting Fletcher Pilates to Chicago. Specializing in teaching the finer points of the Pilates Method and the comprehensive techniques of The Ron Fletcher Work, Jenna celebrates the individual experience of each student. Her innovative approach to teaching Pilates melds a vast background of experience in professional dance, personal training and therapeutic movement to help students understand how best to work with their body and encourage positive change. In addition to working with students, Jenna is honored to present the Midwest’s premier Fletcher Pilates Comprehensive Teaching Program. She hopes to help inspire a new generation of teachers who share her joy, gratitude and love for the Fletcher Pilates work.

Karen Tovar, pilates instructor
Karen's love of movement began at the age of 3 with a pair of red patent leather shoes. She has studied all forms of dance and most recently performed with the Bruce Wood Dance company in Fort Worth, Texas for 8 years. Karen earned a BFA in Dance from Wright State University and discovered Pilates while rehabbing a broken foot.  She received her  Pilates certification through the PhysicalMind Institute and has been teaching Private and Group Pilates classes for over 10 years.  Her teaching method focuses on the classical technique created by Joseph Pilates.  Karen is dedicated to challenging and inspiring her clients toward breakthroughs in their level of health and fitness.  She realized the benefits of Pilates and exercise through pregnancy and has created a Prenatal Pilates Program at Helios. She is also the proud mother of Sam and wife of Stef.

Kristine Sanderson, pilates instructor
Kristine is excited to join the Helios Family!  She first discovered the Pilates Method at Appalachian State University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Dance as well as earning a certificate of Laban Movement Analysis.  After quickly falling in love with the Pilates practice, she completed her Classical Pilates Certification at the university.  Kristine teaches with a passion for the Pilates work and incorporates her extensive background in movement into her sessions, helping her clients gain strength and mobility. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling at Columbia College Chicago, which she will complete in December 2007.  In the new year, Kristine will enter into the Ron Fletcher Comprehensive Teacher Training to earn her certification in Fletcher Pilates.

Carrie Collins, certified intern - meridian flexibility system
Carrie received her training in the Meridian Flexibility System from Steve Sierra and Anne Tierney. Carrie is a classically trained pianist and found that the system not only relieved tension from long hours of practicing, but also helped balance and strengthen her body, mind and spirit. Carrie offers private stretching sessions.

Julia Molyboga, studio manager
Julia is a welcome addition to Helios Center for Movement as she applies her administrative experiences to keep the studio organized and spic n' span.  A love for athletics and combined with a degree in Communication from Wheaton College helps Julia welcome the students of Helios at the door and develop new programs at the studio.
