Extras are classes to enhance your Pilates practice that step outside of the box!

Killer Abs Program

A program for beginners and seasoned students designed to help you see a difference, feel a difference and get a whole new body. These 3 week sessions will guide you through the proper Pilates technique for matwork, reformer and Fletcher Pilates Quartets! Courses satisfy pre-requisites for all classes on our schedule.

Phase I. "Get to know your A,B,C's"
This Fletcher Pilates Mat program meets twice a week and will give you the tools to perform exercised efficiently, for stunning results. Participants will receive a complimentary custom home workout to continue practicing daily.

Phase II. "Sometimes I hear my reformer calling to me......."
This Fletcher Pilates Reformer course also meets twice weekly and guides students through the foundation and practice reformer classes. Phase II. satisfies pre-requisite requirements for all Foundation Reformer Classes.

Phase III. "Work werk wurk the program"
This phase is taught in a circuit-style class and involves all of the studio equipment. Experience the "wunda" of the chair and learn how all of the studio apparatus work together to not only give you "killer abs" but a killer body as well! Phase III will satisfy pre-requisites for Foundation Fletcher Pilates Quartets.

Pre-Natal Pilates Quartets

At Helios Center for Movement, we offer the option of small group training to those students who have practiced Pilates pre-pregnancy with our instructors. Quartets are run at a "Practice" level of class and move at a pace that is consistent with our group classes but with a focus on safety and modifications for exercises. If you are new to Pilates, we offer the option of our Introductory Package of private sessions. From there, our instructors can recommend the proper course of practice to promote the safety of both you and your baby throughout the duration of your pregnancy. Doctor's note required.
